This website 'Beckmann Art’ is the creation of Hrefna and Einar Beckmann.

Our father, Wilhelm Ernst Beckmann, produced many works of art, both before and after he emigrated to Iceland.

We have set up a website, 'Beckmann Art', with information and pictures of our father’s works.  Much of his work is accounted for, but there are some whose whereabouts are unknown.  Most likely they are somewhere in Iceland or Germany or Denmark.

We need your help to locate them. 

We therefore ask anyone who has recollection of Beckmann’s work or any tales or stories associated with Beckmann to contact us, so we can make reference to them on our website.
